The Peanut Butter to my Jelly

I shot this on the day Trump was inaugurated as Presi- (nope still can't say it)... Was inaugurated, and felt severely sad all day, shedding a tear here and there throughout the day. I was close to canceling this shoot. But, then I felt inspiration to make work. I realized that this shoot could symbolize and prove that differences are good, and they can bring people together. And that love trumps hate.  

I'm not good at talking about politics, but now more than ever it's important to create, and be expressive. Let your emotions help you make something that no one else could. That help say things that words can't speak.

Anyway... Happy Valentine's Day! I am very proud and excited about these images. I've had this idea in my head for a couple of years now, and it was incredible to execute it.
